Your numbers

The calculators work in your browser: the numbers you type are not sent to the site. They are written into the page address, so a reload or a copied link shows the same result. Whoever opens such an address, you included, sends it to the site like any other address, and the server log below keeps it for 14 days.

What the site counts

The site keeps one total per day for each of four actions: a result shown, an entry the calculator could not use, a copied link and a click on another calculator. Nothing is stored with a total: no address, no network address, no identifier. Totals older than 120 days are deleted, and automated browsers are not counted.

To stop the counting in your browser, open any page with ?cpc_nocount=1 at the end of the address; the browser keeps that choice in its local storage. ?cpc_nocount=0 turns the counting back on.

Cloudflare

Every request to the site passes through Cloudflare, which delivers and protects it and so handles your network address and browser details. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views, where visits come from and how fast pages load. It sets no cookies and uses no local storage, and the page address it receives has your numbers removed.

Server log

The server logs each request: the address, the time, the network address it came from, the page that linked to it and the name of the browser. The log is kept for 14 days to run and protect the site, then deleted.

Cookies and accounts

The site sets no cookies. It has no accounts, sign-up, comments, newsletter or advertising.
